During final weekend of July, Audi Sport customers won races with the GT3 version of the Audi R8 LMS in three countries. Adding to these GT3 victories was a strong comeback drive for the Tresor Orange1 team to score an overall podium finish in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS at the Nürburgring. The Audi R8 LMS GT4 also had a strong showing in German club racing and a class podium result in Japan.

After a strong start to the year, the Audi Group continued its successful trajectory in the first half of 2023. Between January and June, the brand group progressive delivered a total of 919,548 Audi, Bentley, and Lamborghini vehicles. This corresponds to an increase of more than 15.3 percent compared with the previous-year period. The Group increased its deliveries, particularly in Europe and the USA. Revenue grew by 14.4 percent to €34.2 billion, with an operating profit of €3.4 billion. At 10.0 percent, the operating return on sales was within the target corridor of 9 to 11 percent. Audi once again delivered a strong performance with fully electric models: The increase of over 50 percent to 75,647 vehicle deliveries proves that the Four Rings is on the right track with its systematic electrification strategy.

Bentley Motors today announced encouraging financial results for the first six months of 2023, however warned of more difficult trading conditions to follow. The luxury British marque posted operating profits of €390 million, slightly down on the same period last year, a two per cent drop from €398 million.

It was not an NSU invention, but a licensed production based on the design of Italian manufacturer Innocenti, which was selling licenses to various manufacturers in different countries at the time. The countdown has begun: the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) is in its final stages of development. The Audi Q6 e-tron marks the start of the largest model offensive in Audi’s history. The model redefines standards in terms of performance, range, and charging. It is also the first fully electric model to roll off the production line in Ingolstadt. At this stage, the camouflaged prototypes of the brand with the four rings provide an early understanding of key areas of the vehicle’s technology and debut a global innovation in the field of lighting technology.
