The “Golden Computer 2016” goes to Audi connect in the Computer Bild readers’ choice poll

The coveted “Golden Computer 2016” trophy won by Audi connect confirms the readers’ very positive response to connectivity technologies from Audi. Marcus Keith, Head of Development of Operating and Display Systems at AUDI AG, had this to say: “This award by the Computer Bild readers is recognition of Audi’s many years of commitment in the area of operating systems and vehicle connectivity. Our customers are impressed by the comfort and functionality provided by the permanently integrated SIM card for use of the connect services, and by the Audi virtual cockpit in the Audi A4. The “Golden Computer” spurs us on all the more in our pursuit of even greater achievements in electronics development.”

Audi connect is once again the winner of the “Golden Computer” in the “connected car” category. The award ceremony was held at the Axel Springer SE publishing company in Berlin.

With Audi connect, the Ingolstadt-based premium manufacturer combines all technologies and applications that connect Audi models with the driver, other road users, the Internet and the entire infrastructure.

This year the “Golden Computer” competition was held for the 19th time. And the technologies in the “connected car” category were evaluated for the second time. The readers cast their votes in 13 categories, not only for hardware and software technologies, but also for services.
