“Congratulations to the winners. Anyone who comes out victorious in their home tournament and subsequently in the country and world finale is a deserving winner,” said Bernhard Neumann, Head of Experiential Marketing at Audi. “Thank you to all partners, organizers and of course the participants for having made the Audi quattro Cup a highlight for any golfer for a quarter of a century.”
Aside from tees and greens, the participants and guests experienced a varied program. Hank Haney, former coach of super star Tiger Woods, revealed some tips and tricks. Golf trick shot world champion Geoff Swain and Kevin Carpenter demonstrated their skills to the guests which included the former soccer pros Hasan Salihamidžić and Michael Ballack.
The Audi quattro Cup was incepted in 1991. In the past 25 years, more than a million amateur golfers have participated in the tournaments that are held at the invitation of regional Audi partners as ‘foursomes with selected drive.’
